Google have just pushed out a new version of their operating system Chrome device. Version 25 brings a host of desktop improvements and multi-monitor support.

The stand out feature with this release is support for Extended Desktop Mode. While Chrome devices have always supported output to secondary monitor, this feature give your Chrome device different display options such as mirroring and extending your desktop across multiple displays.

Version 25 includes plenty desktop UI improvements, with App-tray icon reordering and Intelligent Window positioning, which will rearrange windows to show you more at all times.

Minor features include support for tap dragging, Encrypted Media Extensions and HTML5 Content Decryption Module (CDM) with WebM support

Finally, this release includes many bug fixes, performance and security improvements.

Chrome OS 25.0.1364.87 is available now for all Chrome devices. Devices  will be receiving updates over the next several days.
