Chromebook dual-booters or Dev mode users will be familiar with this little guy (below) on boot up.
He appears at the beginning of every boot to ‘warn’ you that you’ve enabled the ‘dev’ mode on your device.
But with more ChromeOS devices floating around – and thus more users – the decision has been taken to replace the humorous splash a more considered and grown up one: –
Depending on your channel subscription you can expect to be greeted by the more grown up splash in the coming weeks.
But don’t fear: you’ll still be able to ‘bypass’ the screen with the same CTRL+D command currently used.
