allaccessThe Chromecast turned one year old this week, and to mark the occasion Google is offering US owners an extended three-month trial of Play Music All Access.

The service gives you access to millions of tracks and albums, including many of the latest releases, created ad-hoc radio stations, and skip as many songs as you like.

It can already be taken for a free 30 day spin in the US and other countries, but in honour of the widely successful media streaming dongle turning one year old, Google has increased the trial period to 90 days for US Chromecast owners.

Three months of unlimited music streaming to any device sounds good to me! Sadly, I’m in the UK, but if you’re not, here’s how to get it.

Redeem 90 Day All Access Trial

  • Have purchased and set up a Chromecast prior to September 30, 2014
  • Must redeem their promo code before September 30, 2014

All fine? Ace. Now, make sure your Chromecast is plugged in and active then visit the following page in Google Chrome. Click on/follow the on-screen prompts.

The page will check your eligibility for offers by scanning your device’s serial number. Upon verifying you’ll see the All Access promotion listed. Click through to grab your redemption code and apply it to your account.

That’s it! Don’t forget that your trial only lasts for 90 days. To avoid being billed at $9.99/month you will need to cancel before your 90 days ends.
