In what is proving to be a great week for Chromebook enthusiasts, Acer has today revealed the full skinny on their latest Chromebook – the C720.
Boasting an Intel Haswell Celeron Processor clocked at 1.4Ghz and 4GB of RAM, the company say the device is good for 8.5 hours on a single charge.
As noted during its reveal last month, the C720 is 30% thinner than Acer’s current crop of Chromebooks, and uses an improved anti-glare screen to avoid unwanted reflections.
The Acer C720 Chromebook is available to pre-order in the US from Amazon.com and BestBuy.com for a cent shy of $250, while those in the UK will be able to nab it at the end of October from Currys and PC World for £199.
Tempted? Feel free to hold your horses on putting down any cash just yet – a suite of additional models, including a touchscreen version, are strongly rumoured to be making an appearance in the coming months.
