Chrome for Android has been updated to version 27, adding full screen mode and improved search.

Chrome for Android has hit version 27 in the stable channel today. The highlight the feature in this release is full screen mode on phones, scrolling down the page will make the toolbar disappear. Fullscreen mode does not yet work on tablets.

Searching from the omnibox will keep your search query visible in the omnibox, making it easier to edit, and show more search results. Chrome for Android now adds support for client-side certificates, you can now access sites that require you to use a certificate and Chrome will allow you to select an installed certificate.

A minor additions to tablets, tab history has been added. Long press the browser back button to view your tab history

Finally, there has been countless stability and performance fixes.

You can find today’s update in the Google Play Store. You need to running Android 4.0+ to use Chrome.
