If you’re a Canadian Chromecast owner then you have a couple of days left to bag a sweet little treat from Google.

The search giant is giving away $20 of free Google Play Store credit to owners of the Chromecast 2015 and the Chromecast Audio.

Once redeemed the credit can be spent on any digital products available on Google Play, including music, movie rentals, movie downloads, and Android apps.

The offer ends on 8th September 2016.

The promotional T&Cs state that only those who purchase(d) a device between August 24, 2016 and September 8, 2016 get the credit. But most Canadian users I know have been eligible, despite buying their Chromecasts somewhere south of these dates.

Reports on Reddit suggest that some owners of older Chromecast devices are also (seemingly accidentally) eligible for the offer too, though this ‘loophole’ has apparently been closed.

To check if you’ve bagsied some free credit — and don’t hate me if you haven’t, ok? — head to the Canadian Google Chromecast Promotions page linked to below.

Remember that to check for or redeem offers your Chromecast needs to be turned on, plugged in and detectable on your Wi-Fi network.
