Running the latest Chrome OS Developer channel build on your Chromebook?
If so, you’re in for a treat the next time you press F5.
Spotlighted by Google’s Francois Beaufort today, a new-look Chrome OS Overview mode is enabled by default on the developer channel.
The overview mode — which works similar to Exposé in Mac OS X — is the latest section of the nimble cloud-centric operating system to get given a material design makeover.
And it looks swish, as you can see in the screenshot above.
Overview Mode was added to Chrome OS in early 2014. It gained typeahead window filtering several months later.
To access the new-look overview mode in Chrome OS Dev just tap the F5 key (the one with a [ ]|| icon on).
