Google continues its marketing push for Chromebooks over the popular shopping weekend, with new “For Everyone” banners at Best Buy stores across America, but will the public buy into it?

Raising awareness of their new wallet-friendly $199 and $249 Chromebooks, Google is pulling out all the stops by displaying massive banners across the Country, commercials on TV and adverts that can be seen all over the web.
Times Square Gets Googlified
In a previous post, we talked about the new “For Everyone” campaign. Google has taken this theme one-step further by setting up a booth in the middle of Times Square, NYC and displaying a marquee of screens displaying user-submitted images that can be uploaded and viewed here.

Although it is too soon to tell whether or not this will help lure the masses into picking up Chromebooks, it seems to be working for their Nexus line of products, as the Nexus 4 sold out within minutes of the handset becoming available on the 13th November.
Will you be picking up a Chromebook this weekend? If so, let us know which one and why in the comments!
